How to Find Ross-on-Wye Bowling Club
Traffic from South Wales/Monmouth (A40) and Hereford (A49) – Arrive at Wilton Roundabout (with Bennets Garage). DO NOT ENTER ROSS-ON-WYE AT THIS ROUND ABOUT i.e. B4260. , THIS WILL AVOID THE ONE WAY SYSTEM. Continue journey on A40 towards the M50. At the next roundabout (Labels/Baileys/market on left) take the Ross-on-Wye bypass signed posted Gloucester A40 (3rd exit). Continue route from Point 1.
Traffic from M50/Ledbury/Fownhope will meet at the first roundabout on the end of the M50. Take exit for Ross-On-Wye passing the service area on your left. At the next roundabout take the first left on to the Ross-On-Wye by pass. Continue route from Point 1.
Point 1 – Continue down by-pass and go straight on at the first roundabout. At bottom of hill at the roundabout take the road into Ross-On-Wye (3rd exit). Continue route from Point 2.
Traffic from Gloucester/Lea A40 – Take the first left at the roundabout after the fire station. Continue route from Point 2.
Point 2 – After about 100 yards turn left into Alton Street with the industrial units on your left. Continue on this route up the hill and pass the hospital on your right. At the next junction go straight across (quick left and then right) Continue route from Point 3.
Traffic from Lydbrook/Goodrich/Ruardean – Enter Ross-On-Wye and follow the road towards the town centre. After about 1 mile you will pass the Prince of Wales pub on the left and then start dropping down the hill. Take the second left and turn into Old Maids Walk.
Point 3 (All routes) Follow the Old Maids Walk to the cemetary gates. Turn left into Crossfield public car park and the club entrance/gate/car park is on the left.
